hey bloggers, how are you? you look good.
I was scheduled for 3 miles Saturday and 4 miles Sunday and I ran zero miles both days. It was Claudia's birthday so we took an impromptu trip to San Antonio and San Marcos. We spent a couple days paddling on the San Marcos river and eating fine foods on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Paloma made me an excellent New York Strip steak. Some mariachi played MalagueƱa Salerosa for us the next day at Michelino's. It was a very nice weekend.
But now I have some catching up to do on my schedule. Some people say you shouldn't try to catch up but should just pick up where the schedule is, but I think I'll try to catch up anyway. I ran the four miler on my off day yesterday (Monday) and felt okay. I think it's getting cooler. If I feel okay I'll pick up the other three lost miles on tomorrow's off day.
Anywho, keep in touch.
Keith.

Run, Keith, Run!
Do you plan to run the bridge as part of your training?
Glad to see you have a plan- with the "longest run" being only 16 miles; I've wondered if there are diminishing returns at some point for the longest run. I would like to see how this human experiment turns out.
My plan has 2 days off/wk, instead of 1 day, which is probably better for an old guy with a creaky knee just wanting to run the whole thing without stopping. I've opted for 22 miles as my longest run.
